Markets and Craft Fairs
Every Lido takes its turn over the week to host the traditional morning market, where you can search through clothes and rolls of material, accessories and articles for the home. It's a pastime that goes well with the holidays, a few moments of distraction among the stalls, only a few metres from the beach.
For a rendezvous a little more out of the ordinary, a blind date, try the evening craft fairs, which move in rotation over the week. In the squares and central streets of the Lidi, they allow you to wander among antique dealers, artists and second hand dealers, or discover the new in the company of ethnic products and herbalists.
Another opportunity for those who like open air shopping is Collezionando sull'acqua, the antique market and exhibition held on the canals of Comacchio. The stalls are set by the water right in the centre of the town, allowing you to pass an evening in the warmth of this welcoming town among furniture stalls and collectables of all kinds.
